When I am not writing essays and reading books I check my facebook account and I play Mafia Wars all the time. I love the feel of money even if its just make believe. Call me a geek or a loser, but the world wide web is my sanctuary and Facebook is my favorite room. And Mafia Wars give me the power that is often restricted in the real world. All the virtual loot and riches I gain somehow relaxes me after long hours of essay writing for school.

The gameplay is really simple, the graphics and interface is second-rate at best but the feel of accumulating spoils of war and owning businesses really enthralls me. Aside from attacking other human players, this is as gangsta as I'm gonna get. And with the expansion to Cuba, Bangkok, Russia and soon in Las Vegas, things are gonna get messier in the future. Messy beautiful.
